Is it real boar bristle?

Yes. Natural boar bristle, not synthetic nylon. Real bristle is keratin, the same material as hair, so it grabs and moves the natural oils and any balm instead of just scratching and building static the way plastic does.

Will it be too harsh on my face?

No. Use short, light strokes on dry skin, two or three mornings a week rather than every day. The bristle is firm enough to lift the dead, flaky layer but not sharp. If you are new to it, start gentle and let your skin adjust.

How do I keep it clean?

Shake or comb out any loose skin after use, wipe it down now and then, and hang it by the cotton loop to dry. Keep it dry and do not soak it. Boar bristle ages and softens for years when it is looked after.

THE RITUAL · HOW TO USE IT

Two passes. Ten seconds. Then the balm.

  1. 01

    Sweep

Run the brush over dry skin in short strokes. It lifts the dead, dry, flaky layer sitting on the surface.

  2. 02

    Brush it out

Wipe the loosened skin off with a towel. Your face is now clean, smooth and ready.

  3. 03

    Then the balm

Press in a pea-sized scoop of balm. On prepped skin it sinks straight in instead of sitting on top.

Two or three mornings a week. That is the whole thing.

  • → Lasts years, not months
  • → No power, no refills
  • → Works with any balm

MADE TO LAST

Three honest things. Nothing to replace.

01

Real Boar Bristle

Natural bristle, not synthetic nylon. Firm enough to lift dead skin, soft enough for your face. Nylon just scratches and builds static.

02

Solid Beech Wood

One piece of dense hardwood with real weight in the hand. It does not crack, warp or shed like moulded plastic.

03

Cotton Hanging Loop

Hang it to dry after every use. Kept dry, boar bristle ages and softens for years.

No plastic. No motor. No parts to replace.

WHY IT MATTERS

The brush does half the job. The balm does the rest.

Dry, flaky skin is a barrier. Rub balm straight onto it and most of it sits on the dead layer and wipes off with your shirt collar.

Sweep that layer away first and the balm reaches live skin, the skin that can actually drink it in. That is why the men who use both see the balm work faster.

The Difference A real brush vs a plastic one

Why boar bristle beats the plastic ones.

Nylon scratches and builds static. Plastic snaps and sheds. Neither preps your skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it real boar bristle?

Yes. Natural boar bristle, not synthetic nylon. Real bristle moves oils and balm instead of scratching and building static the way plastic does.

Will it be too harsh on my face?

No. Short, light strokes on dry skin, two or three mornings a week. Firm enough to lift the flaky layer, not sharp. New to it? Start gentle.

Can I use it on my beard?

Yes. It works the natural oils and any balm through the beard and down to the skin underneath, where the dryness and flakes actually sit.

How do I clean and store it?

Shake out loose skin after use, wipe it now and then, and hang it by the cotton loop to dry. Keep it dry, do not soak it.

Do I still need the balm?

The brush preps, the balm nourishes. The brush clears the dead layer so the balm reaches live skin and absorbs. Most men run the two together.
